For Love and Coffee Score Completed

Bigtoe have just completed a score for the Screen Yorkshire funded short, 'For Love and Coffee' directed by Steven Carr. It's a modern take on the silent movie; the boy, girl and adversary thing. It's a beautifully shot and humorous film due for release as part of the Film Councils MOViES scheme.

The score is a shmogasbord of movie music including Ennio moments, clunky piano and touch of 'Punch Drunk Love'. There's also a broken guitar which sounds lovely. Watch this space for screenings in the future...

'Walthamstow' gets nominated for Best Documentary at Soho Short Film Festival!

Bigtoe has his fingers crossed for Dominic Stinton and the good folks involved with "A Portriat of Walthamstow Market". Its up for the Best Doco award, an award it richly deserves I should add. The music was an original  BIGTOE composition, some of which you can hear and purchase online at:

If you're a fan of bouzouki infused funk, you'd be a fool not to check it out. I'll just sit back and wait for the flood of requests to come pouring in...
